Not small pies!
Decent size for individual savoury pies, maybe a bit big for sweet/fruit pies. Needs about 250ml of filling. Hence the thing itself is quite chunky. Works surprisingly well from a cold fill - but still drape pastry over a glass for easy transfer to the bottom of the cavity. Unloading not too bad with an adequately thin but stiff tool. Detailed cleaning is a bit of a faff, with lots of little gutters to trap crumbs. I think it will get used often.
