Best on the Market
I have used this soap for years as modern ones tend to dry out my skin, plus I really don't want to smell like a teenager who has just splashed something on before running out the door. The scent of sandalwood is gentle and practically used in most good gentlemen's products and this brand has stood the test of time. There’s something wrong with this soap
Three people in my family found the fumes from this product caused them to wheeze and cough. I had to throw it out, before using it. Even then, the smell in the drawer where it had been kept was overpowering. My guess is that there’s some kind of artificial perfume in this product, that makes it unusable for me and my family. Sorry to be so negative, but I can’t give any recommendation whatsoever to use this soap. Perhaps others less sensitive to chemicals will be able to use this and enjoy it. Good quality - but strong scent
Ideal 'take away' soap if you are away for a couple of days. They don't go mushy and disappear after first use. Quite a strong, heady scent so if you don't like sandalwood this might not be for you - but I love it. Cheap price. Similar quality.
Coarse soap with an awful burnt charred smell which lingers in the house and on your skin. Took me several washing and scrubbing sessions plus an alcohol splash to reduce to a tolerable level. There may be some Sandalwood oil in there but the choking smell drowns everything. It does lather up well though. Good shape to hold a slippery soap bar. Recommend? Nope. Good value?
