Great value and works well
Arrived very well packaged and was fully working straight out of the box. I've used a previous version of these 40W laser cutters, this is more compact and has better fit and finish - including hot glue securing all the adjustments on the optical path, a good addition. This version is also more compact. It's not a cheap tool, but it is good value. The USB stick included the free and open-source "K40 Whisperer" software as well as the LaserDraw software that is typically included.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My K40 review
It is a good starter package, There is a lot of hot glue used everywhere over the mirror screws over the electrical connectors. The smoke extractor sticks into the work area so loose about 1 to 2 inches Y and X axis. It is not able to use one of the best laser software programs Lightburn, you need to buy a new controller board I think well worth the cost to be able to use Lightburn and other GRBL softwareVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
