Enjoyed seeing this on TV enough to purchase it and its previous original series. The characters are voiced well and the character development is smooth and percise. The overall story is good and encompasses a full range of genres with fantasy, drama, and action being the most prevalent . It has enough behind the writing to satisfy intellectually; but, not so much that it can't be watched casually. Side-stories and sequals normally aren't nearly as good as the originally released material; however, considering the wide target audience range it reaches I could easily rate this a 4.5 out of 5 stars on its own or as a part of the whole video version series.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Okay sequel series that doesn't quite live up to the original.
DVD arrived faster than expected. It was new and shrink wrapped. However, the casing was busted at the bottom and the interior DVD flip section is detached from the outer case. DVDs seem fine. I'm not too upset about it, since we generally move DVDs to wallets and get rid of the cases anyway, but at first glance this looks to be a defective unit which may explain the great price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sucha a good show.
anytime some creators try to follow up their amazing success story with another one, its gonna have high expectations. so while there is something so unique and peerless in the original avatar the last airbender series, this next installment is so good. the writers have upped their game in my opinion. a lot of their subject matter is more ambiguous. no easy traditional answers are a fact of life, and i feel this series portrays this well. that. and Bo-lin! : D I love Bo-lin. This is a cool story, gets very deep. Lots of lessons on choices that one makes through life. Characters are well developed and have clear motives with lots of background. Cause and effect definitely plays a role- something that was done in season 1 affects something that happens in season 4. A very spiritual story, a story of self development, and roles one plays in others lives and the bigger scheme of things. It's neat, I like it. I liked the title. It caught my eye on the store. I don't have cable, so, I didn't know about it until then, found it on eba y and have it a try.
It took a moment to let go of the old characters, being a fan, but, once I did I really enjoyed the series. Sequels are seldom better than the first, this is not an exception. However.....
It's the avatar universe so that's a solid plus. The show is a little more scattered then the classic Avatar. It watches differently, it is more episodic. Having multiple villains throughout the show instead of focusing on one overall baddy. Good price, but I wasn't crazy about the show
I love Avatar the Last Airbender and have been wanting to check this out. I didn't want to spend a lot on it in case I wasn't a fan and this is much cheaper than in store. The show itself is good but I have my issues with it, most being things others on the internet find positive so it's worth a watch. It's a lot more mature than Avatar (which is not a bad thing) but I guess I'm a child at heart 😅 I do plan on rewatching soon, maybe my feelings will change.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Series, great quality, just ONE major complaint
If you’re a fan of Avatar the last airbender like me then you’ll love the legend of Korra. The only problem with this boxed set is that on a few of the disks, sometimes the show will stop, glitch out, or skip a few seconds. It’s not enough to where I missed out on entire episodes, but it does really get annoying on a few occasions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
