NotesRik has 20 plus years experience as a Clean Stand-UP Comedian. He's headlined clubs such as The Improv, Zanies, The Punchline and Funny Bone. He's performs his upbeat act anywhere people are looking for good clean fun. The typical 60 minute show is 75% stand-up / 25% musical comedy and 100% clean. Rik will have you rolling as he describes deer hunting with his brother-in-law 'Skillet'. You'll nod in agreement while you laugh as he describes marriage, parenthood, aging and frustration with technology. Rik also performs as a Barney Fife Impersonator for trade shows, law enforcement banquets and as a 'primer' for some of his stand-up shows. Born in Lexington, KY, Rik has a laid back style with a little southern flavor. Easygoing onstage, his goal is to connect with everyone in the crowd - not alienate the audience like many of today's comics. It's honest, funny and you'll relate to every bit of it. His songs are quick hitting ditties with plenty of punch. 'It's a Rental' gives you permission to treat the car like a Duke boy. 'I might be cheap - but I'm not broke' reveals Rik's 'thrifty' side. 'I'm Just A Guy' is a non-apologetic account of manhood. 'The Ballad of Fife and Cash' pairs to his two heroes in a nursing home facing life's issues of aging. 'Housekeeping' knocks on the door of frustration. And 'Stinky' explores the trappings of a less than hygienic roommate. He's appeared on The "Bananas Family Comedy Show", CMT's "20 Greatest Redneck Moments", American Family Network's "Laugh Out Loud", NPR's "Car Talk", Sirius/XM Radio's Laugh USA and Blue Collar channels. Come on for a ride with Rik and you'll laugh all the way through his life.
