well engineered and solid
This product is well engineered and came well packaged, arriving promptly after order. It did my extraction quickly and efficiently, however, if I had any criticism it would be that it was designed by an engineer and maybe not a bee keeper. The shelf for the frames to sit on are too wide for a standard national super frame (national being the most popular hive in Britain) they are set low down and the lugs can trail in the honey after a short time. I am sure it would take a brood frame well. The bung would be better on the bottom rather than the side for ease of cleaning and as a woman of average height the extractor is very deep and I cant reach the bottom. Generally I am pleased with the extractor and happy to recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
