Speaks to you across the years.
Contains four films: a Feast of Friends, A Feast of Friends - Encore, a Granada TV programme "The Doors Are Open" recorded 17th December 1968, and "The End" a concert filmed in Toronto in 1967. Ray Manzarek was disappointed when he viewed A Feast of Friends which was put together by "the faux Doors" and Jim. He thought too little content had come out of all the footage shot. Maybe so, but it is a trip, and mesmerising. You will want to watch it again and again, and with the extras included gives an authentic frisson of the late 60s and is also good value for money. The Doors were unique.
