An excellent read.
The book was in an 'As New' condition. The book is only recently published (within the past 2 years). As most of the books in this series are set in the 19th Century (as this one is in fact) I thought the Author must have died, but he is obviously still writing. This is an excellent read, and the chapters are not too long.

Perhaps the best in this series?
The author applies his usual skill in parading a range of possible suspects for the reader to consider. The partnership of Colbeck with his sargeant and other helpers systematically gather information. Unusually a cooperative and observant railway policeman makes key contributions to finally solving the murder mystery.
