Rust Neutraliser
This item is easy to use and as it is based on Phosphoric acid is no more harmful than coke drink. Used neat forms a good base for painting,once dry. Best way to use is mix as specified and leave rusty item to soak for 12hrs or more. Wait till all rust turns black then wire brush and re-immerse if still red rust in deep holes. Amazing rust remover
I am very impressed how HG Rust Remover works. I had to remove rust from my old garden furniture I kept outdoor for 3 years without any cover. Rust was on every single piece of metal and screws, everywhere ! I kept HG Rust Remover on parts overnight and washed out after. For deeper rust I had to repeat the process and use brush a bit. Works very well.
Works exactly as it should, use a wire brush to remove heavy or loose rust and brush the remover on liberally, leaving overnight is best. It turns the rust black and can usually be washed off with water. I had to repeat the process a couple of times on some things with heavy rust so a bit of patience is required sometimes. Brilliant and far easier than wire wool or Brillo pads
Good value and very effective. I used it to derust some old cycle partsc. After a few minutes it realy worked well. Later in I did a very rusty cycle chain but because it was so badly rusted I left it for about two hours.
