When Mark Shelton made his first recordings with his newly formed band Manilla Road in 1977, he certainly had no idea that 35 years later, in 2012, he would be performing in Scandinavia, Germany, England or Canada. And the fact that he invented a genre called “Epic Metal” only became apparent over the years.
