In my ignorance I assumed tru oil was.... Oil, and my stock would be oily, In a way it is oil, but this stuff dries just like varnish! Excellent for a glossy hard finish, especially on water based stain! Very sticky, so use newspapers and don't touch anything until after using a solvent to clean your fingers! Multi coats are easy to apply, and runs are few and easily fixed. Done 6 coats on a stock, and still have 3/4 bottle left. First Birch wood product in happy with!

Great for finishing guitar necks and bodies.Apply with lint free cloth and build up the layers as required. For extra shine add White Spirits 50-50 to final coat. Lid can be troublesome if allowed to get sticky, but otherwise great product for a nice golden hue that makes the grain pop out.

I have used this on a stripped guitar body and an unfinished maple neck. The grain on the body which was virtually invisible before is now the focal point on the instrument. The maple neck has a lustre that has depth and shows off the beautiful wood. I'll keep using this on all my jobs from now on. Thank you

Easy to use and does exactly what it should. If you follow the instructions you will get a very pleasing finish that is both durable and practical. Many of my fellow club members have passed very positive comments and have tried Truoil for themselves. What more could you ask for.
