Creedance Clearwater revival started the year of 1969 with the two hit singles Green river the title song of the first album that year and Bad moon Rising from the same album which a No1 album so it was a hard act to follow but. in the late autumn Willy and the Poorboy's was released and shot to number 1 a second gold album in the same year this was the fourth album and second of a run of three LP's the third coming in the following year. Willy and the Poorboy's contained to hit singles Down on the Corner and the political song Fortunate Son which was to do about the Vietnam war . The album also as a couple of cover versions Cotton fields and Midnight Special a old. Country blues song if you want to check out Creedance this. LP is a good place to start for this was the high point of there success.
