I shot a film of this with a good camera and a yellow lense, but the result is attrocious. The pictures are lifeless and come out in a sort of muddy grey that has no richness to it. Never again!
I wanted to try this film as unexpected it uses a Colour process to develop it. I read another review before buying it and they said how good it is. I am pleased with the results as this film is a good price and during lockdown I learned how to develop colour film at home so used the same chemicals. Its not too difficult to do and it’s a nice quality film with good sharp images and tones and easy to change in Lightroom if you want. I tried HP5 but it is too grainy for me and prefer XP2.
A very good film with fine grain. I have had great results with my Yashica Electro 35 GTN and Nikon F3.
It is good for those like me who don't develop their own as it uses C-41 processing. Just drop it into your local one hour photo shop, (if you can still find one), and it's done along with the colour film.
I tried XP2 to see how it compared to HP5 that I have to send off for developing. XP2 has the bonus of being developed in C41 and my local photography store can usually do it for me in an hour or so. For convenience it's great and I managed to get decent results from it that compared favourably with HP5 in similar conditions. I will happily use it again
