Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with the local customs office of your country of residence prior to making purchases to have an idea of what these additional costs would be. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. Having had problems with crimps coming adrift when using cheaper pliers, I decided I had no alternative to spending on a decent set.
No regrets with these, they do the job perfectly on very small crimps.
The price put me off but I wish I'd got a set years ago so I wouldn't be replacing wiring that is only a couple of years old.
This crimp tool is the only one I have found that successfully crimps the contacts for Molex KK series connectors. The tool is very expensive for what it is, but it does the job, so I can't really complain can I?
Another small gripe is the design of the catch. This could definitely be improved without adding to the cost.
Does a very good job of forming small crimp connections for plug/socket terminals. The UTC tools cost £100s. This tool forms perfectly adequate crimps at a fraction of the cost.
