Having had problems with crimps coming adrift when using cheaper pliers, I decided I had no alternative to spending on a decent set.
No regrets with these, they do the job perfectly on very small crimps.
The price put me off but I wish I'd got a set years ago so I wouldn't be replacing wiring that is only a couple of years old.
This crimp tool is the only one I have found that successfully crimps the contacts for Molex KK series connectors. The tool is very expensive for what it is, but it does the job, so I can't really complain can I?
Another small gripe is the design of the catch. This could definitely be improved without adding to the cost.
Does a very good job of forming small crimp connections for plug/socket terminals. The UTC tools cost £100s. This tool forms perfectly adequate crimps at a fraction of the cost.
