Large blind spot, particularly if mounted above 1.9m
I was looking to mount this in the top corner of the room, normal practice you’d expect, but bear in mind that the blind spot, even mounted at 1.9m (very low) is over 7m long! The hallway in question isn’t that long, and so it’s effectively impossible to trigger the PIR. If you’ve large rooms and/or can mount the sensor in a reasonably aesthetic way below 2m this could work for you, but bear in mind these pretty significant limitations otherwise. I’ll need to get a different PIR as it cannot be triggered in the hallway as intended. Photo attached from relevant section of the instructions.
