Beautiful account of a little-known industry and ecosystem. Very illuminating.
Beautiful account of a little-known Chesapeake crabbing industry and life-sustaining ecosystem. Well-written. Really makes one appreciate our planet and our dependency on the resources and the delicate creatures tied to it. Highly recommend it as well as supporting The Bay Journal, and the Bay Journal Films, which is where I learned about the book.

Classic look at life on the Chesapeake Bay
Classic book on the bay and the folks who make a living there. Just as relevant now as it was ahead of its time when it was first published in the 70's. Great read for anyone interested in the waterman's life on the bay and the varied folks that call it home.
