Perfect for rust
I watched a video on YouTube on how to remove rust, and this was the number 1 recommended product. I saw how wel it worked on fresh and old stains right before my eyes. It cleaned and brightened the concrete in my backyard and it was so easy to mix and apply. I used a Home Depot 5 gallon bucket and a broom with gloves. I applied, let sit and scooped it up and then rinsed. Little to no agitation was needed for years old rust stains and it brightened the concrete. Does exactly what it says it will do.
I used it to remove rust on stone where sprinklers had created a stain on the house. It worked instantly, as soon as it was applied. Have a hose handy and running to immediately rinse it off. Waiting minutes might have been too long, removing color from the stone. I made it up one cupful of water and three tablespoons of the product at a time and used a small paintbrush to apply it. This covered a surprisingly large area (approximately 3 feet by 3 feet) on the front of the house. It was easy to prepare and apply. It completely removed all rust with one application. Product Produced the Desired Results
This products works as intended. It removed some very old dark stains caused by granular iron supplement and some more recent light stains cause by liquid chelated iron. My only complaint is that the mixing instructions don't indicate whether the tablespoon measurement is for a level or heaping amount. I initially used a level amount and the mixture would not turn to a gel so I kept adding small amounts to try to achieve the desired consistency, which by the way never happened. This concrete cleaner is the best ever! Tried all sort of cleaners, while trying to remove acid stains from the driveway. Nothing else worked. After viewing this product on YouTube, I gave it a try. After mixing according to instructions and using a paint brush to apply. This cleaner begin working immediately to remove the stains. Due to the toughness of the stains that had settled for several years, it required several applications, let it worked longer before rinsing with water, 35-40 minutes, in the shade.
