At a weight of only 0.18 pounds, this shaving brush has been fashioned from pure boar hair. Favoured by professional barbers, the bristles are 60mm, with a 65mm handle, for a total length of 125mm. A BIG boar brush
The Proraso shaving brush, made by Omega, is exactly what it sets out to be, i.e. a big brush made of boar hair. I am persevering with it as an alternative to my favourite, which is a Muhle with man made "badger" fibres. They couldn't be more opposite with the silky smoothness of the Muhle and the rough and tough action of the Proraso. An excellent buy

Best brush so far
This is a far less expensive brush than many out there, but it's very good quality. The bristles are long and firmer than badger hair, so may not be for everybody, but it performs very well. Love Proraso!
I find the boar bristle shaving brushes much better than the traditional Badger Hair. This is my second Proraso brush and it just does the job. Different technique with lathering to badger but you soon get the hang. In my opinion, you can't beat Proraso for shaving products.
