A great speaker at an amazing price
First things first this review will not include anything about the bluetooth microphone as I have not and don't plan on using it. I needed a new speaker to replace an older DAB radio in my kitchen, as I had an old iPhone 4s I decided to go for a speaker which utilises the older 30 pin docking station. This speaker for less than £20 looked to fit the bill. The unit itself is well made and looks really good with the metal grill and minimal button layout giving the unit a nice clean look. Once the iPhone was connected the music stored on it plays directly through the speaker (whilst charging the handset). The speaker also plays out audio from any other pre-installed apps on your iPhone or iPad with both UK Radio player and Spotify apps belting out great levels of sound. The bass from the unit is pretty strong but not overpowering and all vocals are excellent and clear (considering the price of the speaker). Add to this an older model iPad and netflix or Youtube videos really benefit from much better sound (although having the iPad stood vertically doesn't make for a great viewing experience). Add to this Bluetooth connectivity and a 3.5MM jack and connectivity isn't limited to older apple products with my music playing clearly from my Huawei mobile via BT with no trouble at all (a single press of the pair button to link the device and you're away). I highly recommend this speaker, as at this price (£20) from this manufacturer it really is too good to be true!

Don't purchase this
Microphone does not sync with it. Your phone needs install application to work with speaker and problem is the dock only supports iPhone 4 or less which is not compatible with the application you need. After 2 weeks it won't even charge the phone. Massive disappointment for my daughter at Xmas. Don't waste your money
