Lights out, it did exactly what it said it could. The instructions are not the best for someone not used to this type of equipment but it worked!
This is a very simple gadget with only two buttons but it does the job. I hate to think of the cost of taking the car into my local VAG dealership for what was a 5 minute job to reset the alarm light for the airbags, having reconnected the wiring plug under the passenger seat. It had just worked loose with time and what finally tripped the alarm was driving over a cattle grid. Will save you a fortune in garage bills
This is a great diagnostics tool for the money. I must admit I didn't have that high hopes because it was so cheap, but it works really well. There are only two buttons, but the menus are easy to use and the instruction manual points you in the right direction. I bought it because my VW Polo was stalling and I couldn't work out why. This device connected in seconds and listed 4 fault codes. I must admit the fault code description in the book was a bit vague, but a quick internet search of the fault code numbers quickly pinned it down to the crankshaft sensor with details of where it is and how to change it also easily available on line. Definately recommended if you have a VAG group vehicle. I've only used it so far for one fault, but I recon its already saved me a fortune at the local garage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works
It has no quality feel to it, but if you are careful with it, I guess it should survive some years in the car or garage. I recommend it because it has very good price value and did turn off my faulty air bag warning light which was the reason for my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works for Skoda Fabia Mk3
I triggered a door air bag fault light by removing the door wiring connector on my Skoda Fabia Mk3. This device, once plugged in found the error code and switched off the warning light on the dash. Good for a range of codes, not just engine management codes like some other devices. Very easy to use and pays for itself after a single use and then some! Far cheaper than a VW garage.
It has been a very cost effective means of clearing the worrying engine emissions warning light. The scanner arrived quickly and took only a few minutes to clear the fault. I've only given 4 stars because the scanner said it had failed to clear the fault but when I started the engine the warning was not there. Nice little unit
My Golf (2004) MoT was due, the wife came home and said the airbag light was on. I swore and did an immediate google search. I cleaned all connectors, disconnected the battery etc etc. Googled again, found reference to this unit.
