Looks new but who knows, could be a lemon.
Bought the charger just in case I need it. The box it came in had been opened before and the contents replaced clumsily, all cable just a mess. Was it a return product, I don't know, and I haven' tried it, hope it does when I do. Good, old fashioned battery charger that does what it says on the tin
This is a proper battery charger which charges the battery, as opposed to some of the 'automatic' chargers which light up like Blackpool illuminations then switch off before they have had any useful effect. Works well with 6V and 12V batteries. Only thing to be cautious about is that it has relatively low Ahr rating so there is a risk of overheating on a typical car battery size. Can start it again once cooled down. Of course the other side is that is doesn't have an automatic cut out so you need to remember to switch it off when the battery is charged.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job - good quality too!
Really good quality, heavy and well made. Works well and charged my battery. I would keep an eye on it however as I'm not sure that it stops charging when the job is done. Took about 10 hours to put charge back into a discharged 45amp hour lead acid battery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Value Battery Charger
I bought this charger as I have a 12v battery that I use for camping when there is no electric hook up available. I use a power converter to run a camping fridge and charge devices. I previously bought a cheaper one but it basically burnt out after a couple of uses so I did a bit of research and found this Draper charger had good feedback.
