Very micro pellets
I thought these pellets were quite expensive but I bought them because I thought they would be ideal to use in a new automatic fish feeder, as I was afraid flakes or larger pellets would jamb in the outlet while I was away on holiday. The fish love the pellets. They are smaller than I expected, about pin head size, but they swell a little on contact with the water, if the fish give them a chance. Having tried the feeder I found that due to the small size the pellets poured out copiously, with the risk of over-feeding. I had to reduce the delivery hole with sticky tape to a lot less than its minimum opening size, so if you buy these with automatic feeding in mind, expect to experiment with your feeder before trusting it in your absence.

Perfect for tiny fish
I have been using this food for my fish for the past 6 years, and they are all thriving. It gets gobbled up within seconds, so there is no problem with having to remove waste or rotting food. Although it is recommended for tropical fish, it is fine for the more temperate small fish , such as White Cloud Mountain Minnows and Dannios.

Fish love it!
Fantastic. They float at first and then gradually begin to sink, spreading around the entire tank so all of the fish get a share. The fish love them and since I've started using them even the shy fish come out and wait for their dinner.
