Effective MAF cleaner in my experience.
Bought this as engine fault light had been diagnosed as a MAF problem. Recommended to replace but colleague and net searches suggested trying to clean first. Very easy to extract MAF from A6 Allroad for a non mechanic. Didn't have tools to reset so drove it through another cycle. The engine fault light has gone and nit reappeared. Saved me £170. Ordered this Cleaner, been told it was one of the best, which I am sure it it, not expensive either but sadly it didn't help my issue and I had to order a brand new MAF, At least I have the Cleaner in for next time though. Archoil mass air flow cleaner.
My 2005 BMW diesel was feeling sluggish, to the point that on occasion when setting off, if I wasn't careful I could have stalled it. Fuel consumption had become slightly worse too. Looking at the problem, it pointed to the MAF. Used archoil to clean it and it worked! I wasn't expecting a miracle cure but it worked really well! Better than expected. Car pulls great, feels a lot healthier and the I'm getting better fuel mileage. If your car is a bit older or feeling sluggish and you suspect the MAF, try this before forking out for a new unit. It really cleans the sensor
This MAF sensor cleaner really cleaned my sensor and what an effect it has on my driving! ! ! Engine is far more responsive and a better drive is experience. This was used on an old engine whch has done over 150k and probably never had the sensor cleaned...and what a difference it made. I highly recommended it. You buy these things in hope rather than expectation.
Used on 10Yo Nissan Almera - You buy these things in hope rather than expectation but this one seemed to work. I removed the sensor and sprayed the sensor wire twice as shown on YouTube. I then left it to dry for 15 mins and finally I used a hair dryer on medium to make sure it was fully dry before putting it back on the car.
