Pleasantly surprised by the good quality of this item. I have used other makes but this one is very solid and easy to install, loos really nice when installed. Has separate switches for each socket and a 13 amp fuse controlling all 3 outlets, so you know it cannot be over loaded. Fixing screws are hidden away when installed. More sockets without hassle
I wanted to convert my small bedroom to a study; to do that I needed more sockets. The ideal solution was to remove a single socket and replace it with a 3-gang socket. This approach meant I avoided having to extend the wiring, or use surface mounted sockets and conduit. The changeover took only 30 minutes or so. Because I was replacing a single socket I had to dig a small hole in the plaster to accommodate the protrusion caused by the left hand earth pin housing - easily done. The finished 3-gang socket looks really good, helped by white plugs that conceal the mounting screws. Does what it say. I made a single socket into a 3. It is for flush mounted sockets so if you have patress type it is no good. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. If in doubt get an electrician.

A tip on fitting this product on a 1 gang back plate
I fitted two of these yesterday, they supply the 3.5mm screws plus some spare plastic plugs in case you lose the ones in the package. The size of the holes in the brass cable terminals is generous, no problem getting 2x 2.5 twin and earth in. It has a fuse fitted stopping the socket from being overloaded, it looks well on the wall and it comes with a 25 year guarantee. All at a very attractive price. The only problem I had, and most of that was down to me not reading the instructions, is that when it is fitted to a one gang plate the is a spacing block on the back (for use in 2 gang plate) that sits proud on the wall. You need to cut a rectangular hole, quite small, in the plaster. The tip is to have a 3.5 mm drill and pass it through the left hand fixing point whilst it is loosely held in place by the other two screws. turn the drill bit round several times and this marks where the hole should be, then it is a piece of cake Chris.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
