Excellent amp
Good sound. Clean, or with effects. Different amp types work well. It loud enough to be heard. I have not needed to use it full. I use the direct input. Which is the loudest setting. A brilliant bit of kit
I bought this as my cube Street was not quite up to the job playing a noisy pub. The ex is by far an improvement. Lots of ins and outs. Great sound. It makes you play better. It is a shame that Roland have not put any effort into the iPhone app for the last 5 years but it’s still a good facility being able to record and play through the dedicated link. I haven't really used it much at any volume yet because of the Covid lock down, but i use it at home.The only thing i have had a problem with is that the labels on the dials are a bit hard to see but my eyesight is not as good as it used to be.I usually mount the amp on a stand so it is at a height that i can easily change the volume /effects etc.. I have an led light with a clip that i attach to the amplifier so i can see the controls more clearly, the light is powered by a USB rechargeable battery pack.The stand i use is a GSS 100... cheap and rugged and lot cheaper than the Roland one.. I wrapped carpet tape around mounting pole a few times as the pole is a bit thinner than the female hole in the amp but it works very well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
