Does half the job for VW golf top strut.
Solid bit of kit. Working on a MK4 golf front suspension top mount. Spanner would spin off the top 21mm nut, but the ring of the spanner head is too thick to seat onto the second 21mm nut holding down the coil spring retaining plate. Good length with good leverage. Good spanner, bad label!
It is a very good spanner. It will undo with alacrity nuts of the correct size appropriate to each end of the spanner. It is a worthy addition to my collection of spanners. My only gripe is it comes with a stuck-on paper label that resisted efforts to remove it far longer than it ought. 21mm x 23mm is a very handy combination. The spanner is the right length for delivering sufficient torque to tighten most nuts / bolts. The heads fit neetly on the nuts / bolts to be tightened. Nice spanner but unfortunately wouldn t fit my 2001 Skoda top strut nut as offset had too much angle in it and will be the same for many VAG of that period. Ended up using a 21mm deep socket and a H/D impact driver which broke the nut loose with ease.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
