AT LAST, Portable US at the reach of the average Primary Provider.
The Sonosite 180+ is a good diagnostic ultrasound machine that had been used even by the military in field hospitals. It do the job in the ED in spite being 1rst generation. Can’t beat the price compared to 10 years ago. Great for POCUS. Quality of scans are excellent. The C60 and L38 probes give awesome images for the eFAST exam. Only drawback is battery life, even on rebuilded packs. Using a external power bank to overcome this issue.
