Great Router
This is a top of the range router from TP link. This model has a built in ADSL modem (for normal broadband) included but if you want to have fibre you will need to put it into wireless mode ( through the router's interface) and connect it to any modem (I have it with a BT Openreach modem). The software is included in a mini cd rom to set it up and it is straightforward. The User interface has had an upgrade from the one that did receive a bit of criticism from early reviews when it first came out. Nice to see a company responding so fast and effectively as the interface is very user friendly now. Wireless is both 2ghz and 5 ghz and is really fast with a strong signal. Also 4 GB LAN sockets and a USB 3 which is handy for me as I connect a 2GB hardrive to it and store most of my media there. I torrent a lot and this router can handle all the connections you can throw at it without freezing and needing to reboot it.
