Kaiser stands are great
I prefer these Kaiser stands over the stands usually supplied by the mfr. If the doll has some articulation, they allow the doll to pose more naturally than just to stand there. The waist gripper is better for keeping the doll from falling off the stand but it can get in the way of "the line" of the outfit. If there's a jacket or if the doll's dress is full, they can be slipped underneath. Because they have some weight to them, shipping can be startling. The small waist grippers for Gene and for Barbie and for 8" like Betsy are better than the larger grippers that don't go around the waist snugly, I have found.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent display stands
I've put my Kaiser stands to use- I got them for Star Wars figures!! The stands do slide up or down to accommodate waist height and are a black baked enamel finish however, the stands did not have any kind of "vinyl cushion-coated waist gripper" protection around the waist region. It's just the black enamel. I don't know what the deal is with that but, I hope you enjoy the photos of what I've used my stands for!
