Affordable but not enough octave effect
This product is affordable and does work to a point. Initially I could not hear the Octave effect at all. There was what I would describe as a kind of boost in volume to the pint of breakup in signal, rather than a fuzz tone. But in fairness I have found that this is an accurate representation of the tone used by Jimi Hendrix, as I found out when I listened to different recordings of him performing Purple Haze online. But I personally would prefer an octave effect that comes through more strongly. Also I have found that another fuzz pedal is required for playing songs such as the Wind Cries Mary, which needs a Fuzz effect for that clean but not quite clean tone.
