This product was a dream to work with. Firstly the guide on the top sheet tells you how much fondant to use to the weight of cake. Then there is the guide to the size of cake to roll fondant out to. Say good bye to dry over worked fondant. And the bottom sheet allows you to place the covering on the cake with ease. Not need for a second pair of hands. Just used this to cover a 3 tier wedding cake. This made my life a lot less stressful applying the covering. Brilliant Cake Decorating Necessity - Measure And Roll Icing Mat
This item is of good quality materials and very easy to use. Rolls fondant beautifully and does not allow fondant to dry out during use. I used to use the rolling pin to lift fondant but this aids with lifting the fondant to be placed on cake without damage. Can also be used as a fondant stay fresh mat. Easy to clean and dries quickly ready for next use. Keep rolled (I've used an old foil cardboard roll to wrap it around to keep its shape) and boxed when not in use to prevent damage.
