Not just for nails!
I'm using this item as a UV exposure unit for photoresist applications in making small brass parts for models. Not the best unfortunately
Quick delivery so was happy with that but the actual lamp is very big on the outside but very small to put your hand in that I had to keep my thumb out and as your hand is so close to the lamps it burnt my nails and bubbled the gel so I won't be using it again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well but very small
Although this is a good little nail lamp, little is the operative word. My hands are only small but it is difficult to get the whole hand into the lamp to include the thumbs. I bought this for my daughter who is a nail technician and she does a lot of nails for the elderly. A few issues
My unit consumes 23W so the 36W stated power is a work of fiction. (My mains voltage is slightly high at just over 240v.) The supplied plug has a 13A fuse despite the lead being _thinner_ than the 3A stuff I extended it with while fitting a 3A fuse to the plug. The internal fuse is 3A but on the neutral. Fortunately the construction is ok (neither terrible nor too good) with little chance of shock. I would never leave this plugged in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
