Hultafors HDC Chisel Set
Bought for timber framing in green oak. By far the most durable and robust chisels out there for this. The steel is good quality, only needing a little touch up to flatten the back and a cutting edge which takes no time at all. The way you can lay them flat is extremely helpful for getting into mortises and keeping the work true. Nylon striking caps on the ends are replaceable and are good to withstand a fair smack from a mallet. Each come with own plastic holster which protects the edge and able to clip onto your belt for easy reach. Very good.
