As is usual with Tamiya, there absolutely no issues with this kit. It goes together well and builds into a good representation of the much feared V1 Buzzbomb. My Dad was almost killed by a real on in WW2! You get a single sprue which contains both parts for the aircraft and a somewhat odd looking handling trolley. It goes together very easily and builds into a decent size. I recommend that you paint the engine internal parts BEFORE assembly as you would find it almost impossible once built. Be careful of the tiny fusing vane on the nose, it is very small and fragile, mine snapped off during the build and ended up scratch building a new one. I would not say it's a durable kit as it is not a toy and would be easily broken if played with. It is however a nice addition to the collection and a historic piece since it was the grandfather of todays Hi Tech cruise missiles. Excellent.Read full review

I've built this kit before.. Unfortunately my model was lost in a house move. Having access to the 1:1 replicas at Duxford and associated equipment made me think It's time to replace my model. Typical Tamiya quality. From memory the kit builds easily and there's a lot of reference material available.

A finely detailed Model. These Models depict the Weaponry & exemplify the Rocket Engineering Technological progress being made at the time. They are excellent Historical reference points covering Research & Development, Advanced Design, Economic & Production ability, Military effectiveness. Detailed Models of what ever genre, typify all of the above factors are welcomed by Modellers, the general public at large & are to be commended. Best Regards Peter McKenna
