A great device that provides an extra level of reliability.
A sturdy piece of equipment. I use it to protect from an unexpected shutdown, my virgin router, 2 network storage devices and a laptop which acts as my file server but whose battery not longer is functional. It has already prevented one shutdown in the first week of operation. Obviously as I have purchased the version using UK IEC plugs I also needed to purchase adapters to connect the UPS up to the devices listed above but this only cost (from a different source) about £10. The USB connection direct from the UPS to one of the NAS devices provides me with direct control over how long the the NAS stays up following the loss of mains power. The device also comes with some robust monitoring software enabling the user to see the functionality of the UPS over the network. However, although this is supposed to operate with Windows 7 the file server laptop (using - I know defunct Windows 7) could not make the connection to the UPS. This appears to be a Windows 7 USB driver issue, as when using another Windows 10 laptop everything worked fine. This device definitely provides me with an improved sense of security and reliability.
