Product Information

The Cannon Pixma printer can print, scan, and copy documents direct from your computer. Apart from connecting wirelessly, it also offers USB 1.0, USB 2.0, and Ethernet (RJ-45) ports for hard-wiring. It can print nearly 10 pages per minute in black and white, and 5.7 pages per minute in full color. The maximum printing resolution is an impressive 4800 x 1200 dpi on B5, A4, A5, and A6 paper sizes.

Good all round printer/scanner/copier
Very good quality prints, good scanner/copier, both black and colour - good value for money. Installation was straightforward, with clear instructions. Connection by USB or wireless (though I don't require wireless). Ink cartridges easy to install/change. Comes with comprehensive software, maintenance functions easy to access. Can set it to turn on automatically when a print is queued, and turn off automatically after a specified idle time. Only down side is that it has a single multi-colour ink cartridge, not individual colours

Good value but not easy to set up as wireless.
The printer produces good quality copies and prints via USB cable. I have not yet been able to add it to the nework for wireless printing. When I try to add it to the network, the message unable to find the prinbter is displayed. Also, it would have been helpful to have at least basic cartridges supplied with the printer.

Brilliant printer easy to use
I am one off these people that have no idea when it comes to technology I needed a simple but quality printer that I could tint directly from my phone photos that I wanted. This was perfect for what I need and the price and Quality of the printing is amazing definitely use this company again

I got this as a Christmas present from my mother. It’s a excellent printer. Easy to set up and install inks. The quality of the photos are good but you need to get good quality paper for the results. Printing is easy. I love my gift. Would defo buy.

OK, but---
Generally speaking, the printer/scanner works well. The only two minor problem I have found to date are: 1) It has to be switched off manually. It doesn't like it when my computer automatically switches off it's power supply, and 2) When printing letters & envelopes it's not easy to position the envelopes. The instructions seem to say that the envelopes need to be printed separately with the letter paper removed. This is most inconvenient and doesn't appear to be necessary.

Get instructions from internet - good printer
It’s a great printer. Set up. There are two sheet. One connect printer to internet - I would suggest you get instructions off the internet - not clear on leaflet. Used disc to set up lap top. I have not done the note book yet as cable not included! That’s next weeks job
