This is a very well designed and manufactured product, with installation choices that make it adaptable to many different steering helm locations and motors or rudder. Going in, on new single cable installations, working with a dealer is helpful to get all the right pieces to do the job. My installation was on a 12 ft light weight racing boat with a motor only designed for cable and pulley steering and a steering wheel centered right in front of the driver seated right in front of the outboard motor, i used a 9 ft cable on the port side with a rudder link to the motor, works beautifully. i like this set up better than hydraulic steering i have used in the past. jskalet Sarasota, FlVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
