Apple 1TB PCIe SSD by Samsung - DAMN FAST!!!
I purchased this to upgrade my MacBook Air 13" 2013 model. WOW! After dremelling the battery cage so the 1TB can fit inside my MacBook Air I put it together and WOW! Don't forget to zap the PRAM on your Mac after you do the swap - it helps when nothing happens after you press the power button. I received read / write with my original 512GB of roughly around 657 / 734. But after the swap I go 1598 / 1697 - Holy WOW Batman!!!! During Covid 19 I had to start generating videos to replace face to face work meetings. The 512gb ssd in my 2014 Macbook Pro filled up fast. I read that non-OED ssds have unfixable sleep problems. So I was glad to find this Samsung manufactured Apple proprietary 1tb ssd. The one installation surprise was that the chips face down, instead of up, as they did on the 512gb ssd. Works flawlessly.
