Works well on Fanuc 5T
Unit arrived quickly & well packed. The box had a USB stick with the PDF instructions, a good quality, correctly wired serial cable & the unit. I was please to see the unit powered itself from the Fanuc tape ribbon connector, so no external power supply was required. I entered setup on the DNC One, changed the output to parallel, saved, hit reset & inserted a USB drive. Hitting reset again loads the filesystem from the usb, I selected the program I wanted to run & hit start on my machine (in tape mode) Program ran perfectly! Very pleased. The magnetic back is fantastic, I have the unit stuck to my control box & the entire thing is running from one wire. It's worth noting, the unit can't receive (punch) through the parallel port on the 5t, but that's a limitation of the machine, not the DNC one. My machine punches out through a different port, but as this machine has the memory of a potato, and I back my parameters up by camera phone, its pretty irrelevant.
