Top Propagator
I have come back to using an Electric Propagator after many years and I had forgotten the fun of using one. This works very well , better than the one I used in the !970's which used a light bulb and very Heath Robinson compared to the Garland Product. I have found this Propagator easy to use and the seeds germinate quite quickly, Cathedral Bells can take three weeks I am told to germinate , but my Unwins seeds have started to germinate already after a few days in the unit. Nasturtiums germinated very quickly all in all I am very pleased with my Garland Propagator the only drawback for me is that I want to germinate so many seeds at once. In the old days I used to root cuttings and I am looking forward to having a go again, I will be carrying my pruning knife everywhere now I am retired. I would recommend the product to anybody thinking of growing their own plants from seed, the difficult bit comes afterwards if you do not have a cold frame or greenhouse, that's the gently hardening off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very basic
This does the job but I should have done more research before buying. It's not thermostatically controlled so really you need to turn it off during the day to avoid overheating.
