Works perfectly and a reasonable price.
The Hornby train set had not been used for many years and had been stored away with other forgotten toys. My husband came across it recently and decided to set up, but to his disappointment he found that the original controller and transformer wasn't working properly. Tough and durable controller
I have a 3 year old so we have a few crashes with our train. With the transformer that came with the hornby urban rambler kit we have, each crash or incident means a short period where the transformer won’t work. We assumed this was some kind of safety switch that meant a 5 minute cool down or something. To a 3 year old 5 minutes looking at your dad Fiddle with wires and resetting trains is a life time. So we upgraded to this and boy is it a step up. The train is ridiculously faster, which brings endless giggles to my son.
