I've made so many fridge magnets by mistake by using my dies the wrong way so it was great to be able to get a replacement magnetic shim that fits exactly, and gives just the right amount of pressure, plus I've got three! Although I am trying to be more careful when putting my dies on the shim. Crafter's Companion products are always of the best quality and competitively priced, I just wish there was a way that this item could be made self healing as the dies leave an imprint that can transfer to other cardstock when cutting but still a great product.

Although it says compatible with Gemini it is actually A4 size and therefore smaller than the other Gemini plates. Not a major problem but dies mean you losecdome of the extra width the plates give you. Would rather pay the same for 2 original ones in future. Also found this marked very easily from reverse of die, so maybe z different thickness as well.

In the description it states PLASTIC but when it arrived it's white poly plastic and does not with stand up to die cutting. First time through it warped badly and was mid-shaped. I can only see a couple of uses from the plates. I was under the impression that they were clear plastic as a comparable to the original plates.

when i used it for the second time it cracked it was supposed to be stronger than the Gemini one I feel i have wasted my money I have a second which I ordered for a friend which I am now stuck with .Very disappointed
