Used to replace failed ballast in a bathroom mirror. Had to rewire slightly as original ballast tube filaments in series, replacement ran in parallel ( or might be the other way round, i can't remember ) other than that all ok but does take 1-2 seconds to start, original was almost instant.
But overall I'm happy and cheaply fixed a mirror that would have cost £200 to replace
Robust build and Straightforward to fit with push wire connectors. Only downside is it takes a couple of seconds to fire up both tubes in my bathroom mirror whereas the original was instant.
Used this to replace a faulty old electromagnetic ballast and starters and breath life back into a fly zapper. Needed to alter the wiring a little, but it works perfectly.
