Great product, highly recommend.
I have 3 commercial type roll up sheet doors with lift master 8750 jack shaft motors. The 877MAX was easy to program to open all three motors independently with 3 separate 4 digit codes. (Hint) if mounted in an un lit area, be aware that the keypad will be backlit only after you press a key. You can press the large "enter" button 1st to light up the keypad & then enter your 4 digit code & hit enter again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have never had such a limitation as this remote. Seems it can only open one door so be prepared to buy multiples is you have 2 or more garage doors. Nice, but hard to program
877 Max Liftmaster keyless entry I have an older 2003 vintage Liftmaster garage door opener and was fortunate that the 877 Max keyless entry supported both the new and older model garage door openers. I like this product a lot, but had and still have a problem with programing the 877 Max. I now have 4 wireless garage door openers, including the new 877 Max. I had a difficult time programing all 4 wireless openers to work because whenever I programed the 877 Max, one or more of the other wireless garage door openers wouldn’t work. When I finally was able to get all the wireless openers to work, including the 877 Max, I found that the 877 Max “one touch close” would work sometimes and not the other, requiring me to enter the passcode again to close the door. That was fine with me, but then I found at times the one touch close function would work in reverse and actually open the door with just one touch. I’m sure in time I’ll be able to figure this out, but for now, I’m having to wait for the door to close and the 877 Max keypad light to stop blinking before I push one of the 877 Max buttons again to see if the “one touch close” isn’t engage and opens the garage door without using the passcode. Aside from being difficult to program, I’m very pleased with the 877 max.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works fine, easy to program
My old one lasted about 10 yrs., and began only working sporadically. Had to push the buttons VERY slowly and firmly. This works as advertised - my opener was circa 2005, purple learn button, and it was compatible. Easy to program, took only a couple of minutes. Although directions don't state that you can operate multiple doors on different codes, it does. Just repeat the process on the 2nd door with a different code. They could make the hinge a little sturdier - my old one got brittle and broke after 9 years, and I had to drill thru and rig a long bolt to make it work. Perfect replacement for original
Purchased this to replace an aging (working when it wanted to) original keypad. It was easy to install and setup. It allows you to operate more than one garage door which is a nice feature the original didn't have. The standard 9v battery is more common and available than the special 12v one in the original. Easy to mount and program. No wiring!
I bought a gently used belt opener to replace my rickety screw type. With a little research I found this remote keypad would work with my new opener so I found this at a good price on Ebay. Easy to program and works like a champ without need for wires. Its been over a year and I don't think I have even replaced the battery yet. Much better than older controllers
I bought this for my new house, but I used to have an older version in my previous house. I'm not sure if it was the same model number, but this 877MAX is a better version. First, the battery compartment is a lot easier to open. My previous one was very difficult to get open...therefore, it discouraged me from regularly changing the battery. I feel like I'll be more inclined to keep the battery fresh in this newer one. The next change that I like is the single button "door down" feature. The older one required you to key in the pin code to close the door. This model only requires you to do it to raise the door. You can change this to where it requires the code for both door up and door down if you prefer. Time will tell how this one holds out, but so far, I think it's superior to the older model in every way. I've ordered a second one for the other garage door.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
