Great for strop sharpening

More for wheels than strops so it's bit a tough on the drier side. If you're going to use it for strops you might need a touch of oil, strop balm. The actual grit is fairly strong on this one(as far as green the green compound goes) and can polish up hard metals easily. Very consistent professional grade pure compound. Great for polishing a knife edge. I have some of the red color and it's good too, but this is better for certain metals. If you have a really hard steel blade use the green and then finish off with the red.
