Scanner is easy to follow.
The scanner is very easy to use and handle. I purchased this item to reset my SRS system on my 1997 Volvo 960. However when I scanned the car for SRS system the scanner could not find the codes to clear the system. Called Matt and discussed the problem, figured the code on the car was to old and that I needed to go to the dealer. I think the scanner is great but if you purchase to clear SRS codes on older models not for you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great tool, limited connectivity with older models
I purchased this specifically to help with reading, diagnosing, and clearing intermittent airbag warning lights on a 2000 Saab 9 3 SE. The tool itself was great and read/cleared regular CEL issues with no trouble. However, it would not connect to the Trionic (ignition), TCM (transmission), Airbag, or ABS systems and kept returning a 'No Connection' message (asking if the vehicle had an ECM!) for all of those even though it was clearly connecting properly to the OBDII. Sadly, I had to return this - wished it had worked. I understand some of the issue might be the proprietary Saab control systems, but this was advertised to do exactly what I purchased it for, and it did not do that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
