Cervical Neck Pillow Support
The pillow is used as a support brace rather than for traction. My disabled daughter's neck cannot support her head in the normal position when she is seated in her chair, Normally her head is either positioned forward with her chin on her chest when she is seated or it lolls to one side. We use the inflatable neck brace to support her neck, so that her head is maintained in a normal upright position. Used in this way the pillow is entirely effective and not uncomfortable. The cervical pillow arrived on time, it didn't include any instructions but was fairly straightforward to use. The device was doing a good job for a week or so but it developed a leak and so all of the air comes out unless you continuously keep pumping it up which is now no use to me. Bought to relieve pain from long hours at computer. No problems with fit despite my large neck size. Some instructions should be included as I found online that it should be worn in traction for no more than 30 minutes. Used this way I found an immediate improvement even when not wearing it. Started by wearing it 3 or 4 times a day. Now I find it's only needed on days when my neck's acting up, so the effects seem to be cumulative and lasting. So far no problem with leaks.
