D3 K2 'PARTNERSHIP'
D3 is the 'sunshine' vitamin which is hard to bio-synthesize in a wintery climate, hence its value as a supplement. It's important for helping calcium and phosphorous assimilation to help maintain healthy bones...and this is the common thinking. However, without vitamin K2, the D3 apparently does not help the skeletal system on its own. K2 acts as a 'partner' to ensure that the bones and joints benefit. Otherwise, the calcium gain hits soft tissue....which is potentially harmful, especially when it entails calcification of arteries....This is what I have gleaned from the data out there. So, in my opinion, a good product pairing.
