    Cheap, easy and useful.

    I don't have an aquarium but the sensor is outside my window so I know it's 7.22 degrees C outside. When warming honeycomb for extraction I will push the sensor into the comb so I an be sure that it does not get too hot.

    Used a lot of these easy to read thermometers

    Extremely simple to use. Easy to read the temperature. To begin with, all of the thermometers I purchased displayed the same temperature so they are fairly accurate. They are small enough not to detract from the aesthetic of the fish tanks too much. After having a couple of glass thermometers shatter, I prefer to use this style. Since they are not glass I don't have to worry about putting them in my bag. The suction cups on the back are never very strong and lose their suction quickly. They also detach from the thermometer too easily. With previous thermometers I have found that within a few months the readings become unreliable. I don't trust them enough to just have one thermometer on each tank. I always use at least two and if the readings are significantly different, I will use a third. While they are quite cheap, considering how often I have to replace them, I would prefer them to be cheaper.

    Not too sure about correct temperature…

    Sale experience was great. However the product: I use this for my quarantine tank and it works fine although would say that it appears to be one degree higher than the actual temperature of the tank. I tried this in the bigger tank and it always seems to be a degree higher than what the other temperature stats say and what the heater is set to.

    Good for birthing pool too!

    Got one of these for my daughter who was giving birth at home using a birthing pool. Gave accurate temperature reading using probe at the bottom of the pool. Taped the main body of the device on top of the pool and was frequently referring to it to ensure temperature was good for the birth of my first grandson. All went without hiccups.
